 This doggie makes Mamie a little nervous, because when you pet him, he takes several steps. She does not like the doggie advancing on her. But she loves the tea set!

HALLOWEEN FUN!

 Here I am helping Mamie and her little friend Angelita decorate their cookies at the SBAO (Spina Bifida Association of Oregon) party.

But Mamie wasn't too interested in decorating, she promptly dipped her cookie into a large bunch of frosting, and scooped up a big scoop into her mouth. Yum! This girl gets right down to business!

 Mamie was very excited about this "sword" thingy that light up. Unfortunately she lost hers at the party. :-(

Uh, Meme, you okay?? Mamie looked a little concerned about Meme, not sure why she was  just laying down in the sand like that.

 Here we are at the beach on Labor Day with Meme and Papa. Mamie helped daddy build a sandcastle!

First day of preschool! (again. :-)) She actually went to the July session as well, and I think even wore this outfit on the first day then, too.  I was trying to get her to relax her hands, but instead she copied me exactly. :-) So we tried another pose.

                                       A nice nap after an exhausting 2 hrs of preschool.

Swimming lessons, painted nails, etc

Swimming lessons with her teacher, Jessica. It was originally a 2:1 ratio class, but the other girl was 12, so they ended up each getting private lessons.

 Mamie was VERY excited to get her nails painted. She felt so pretty. :-)

  The finished product. Before some of it got wiped off. It's just too hard for a 3 yr old to let her nails dry. :-)

 And try some more.She was so cute just trying to dry her "bootiful" "nails painted". That what she kept calling them. Nails painted. "Daddy, yook at pails nainted!" Yes, she reversed the beginning sound.

 At the Tuesday Market. A gymnast school put on a little performance and then let people try out the equipment. They were so sweet with Mamie and she had lots of fun.

                                       Oh, how she LOVES to stick her hands in that water!
                                     She always has her eye on it when we go to the market!

These pictures just crack me up. This is at Oaks Park. Although she did not enjoy this particular ride, she DID enjoy a few others.I love how the younger kids are just fine, but not my Mamie!
