My mom visited recently and Mamie began calling her, "mom". I guess she hears me do it, so she figures that's what she should call her too.

Her other words are:

We taught Mamie how to jiggle her tummy. Wade had put his hand on his tummy and "jiggled" it, making a funny noise of course which she thought was very comical so we've now taught Mamie how to do it. I love the noise she makes when she does it, it can't quite be described in words, but it's pretty cute.

Mamie has always loved music. Recently Wade put on something with a heavy beat and she got really into it with a new move, of kinda...head banging. There is nothing funnier than seeing a baby put all the energy of her whole body into just the upper half, and watching her dance. I LOVE it. It is SO cute. She always likes to help lead the music at church, and she often claps after a hymn is done. Or even anytime a song is done. Even when I just sing to her. It's nice to be appreciated. :-)

She enjoys going to the pool at the local rec center. She has started putting her face in the water. It's really funny. Sometimes it is just to drink it, but other times she just thinks its funny. She likes to do that in the bath too.
